How to Compete in the National Science Bowl®
| Teams are comprised of four students and one alternate in a regional competition in their area. | |
| Each team winning its regional competition will represent its sponsoring entity at the National Science Bowl® in Washington, D.C. | |
| Regional science bowls are held in January, February and March at Department of Energy facilities and other select federal agency and education institutions nationwide. | |
| Each regional winning team's expenses for travel as well as accommodations and organized activities at the national competition are included. |
