Rules for the National Science Bowl (pdf)
The regional competition at WSU Tri-Cities will follow the rules for the National Science Bowl except those which concern placement of teams in divisions for the round robin format and advancement and seeding in the double elimination contest. Specifically:

For the round robin competition, teams will be assigned to divisions. Each team may or may not play every team in its division. |

First round opponents for the double elimination rounds will be seeded based on points awarded and score differentials. After the first round, a competition chart will be followed to determine opposing teams in the double elimination contest. |
